'Dr.Chandrasekhar Sankurathri'has established Manjari Sankurathri Memorial Foundation(MSMF) in Canada and Sankurathri Foundation(SF) in India. Dr. Chandrasekhar Sankurathri started both of them in memory of his wife Manjari, son Srikiran and daughter Sarada, who died in the terrorist act of Air India flight 'Kanishka' disaster off the coast of Ireland on 23 rd June, 1985.

Early Life

Dr.Chandrasekhar Sankurathri is fondly called as Chandra.Dr.Chandrasekhar Sankurathri was born to Mr. Appala Narasayya Naidu Sankurathri and Mrs.Ramayamma Sankurathri on 20-11-1943 at Singarayakonda, Andhra Pradesh, India. He is the youngest of eight. Dr.Chandrasekhar Sankurathri attended Municipal High School at Rajahmundry, East Godavari District
